Time stopped at this hotel in the 1970's when it was built. I have no idea why this hotel is still 4 star rated. The entire place is old. Rooms are very basic. Curtains in our room were kept together with paperclips...Even when the curtains are closed still lots of light comes in. The bathroom is small and very old. Bathtub, sink, everything is old and stained. Water pressure is a joke. Towels are hard and again old. Safe in the room wasn't working. Breakfast is so bad that on the second day we just had coffee and some precooked scrambled eggs and we brought our own croissants, yoghurt and juice that we bought outside the hotel the previous evening. Hotspring is old and dirty. The only good thing about this is the outside pool because its big and deep with a separate pool for kids. Very old pool design but reasonably clean. Half of the showers by the pool however are not working. Still paid 290 Euro for 2 nights which is ridiculously overpriced for what you get.

The facilities of Landis hotel offer Hotspring and swimming pool.The hotspring pool is very Japanese type(old fashion but well-maintained). You can book room with/without spring tub.The breakfast is delicious and the services are warm and excellent. For dinner you could walk down (15 mins)to the culture university,there are several good restaurants nearby. The only bad is that air conditioner in the room (room 209) has no function at all. Even in the winter, I feel like I can't breath and I am so afraid of insects that I can't open the window of my room. I hope Landis hotel could improve this serious problem then I would like to come again.

I had been there with my family, boys want to swimming and which is nice place for family stay, have hot spring and nice mountain view, if you would not to do everything, also can seat outside to see green.

The lobby seems new and fashion. However the room door still uses traditional lock and key. The decoration of the room is comfortable but the DIY slippers can't be of use at all. The bathroom is clean but the edges of the bathtub wasn't properly designed or installed so the shower curtain was unable to keep the floor dry, even when the water pressure of the showerhead was pathetically weak. The breakfast exceeded expectation and was delicious, although some dishes weren't quite authentic. The hot spring was very relaxing. The swimming pool was clean and functional. Felt quite refreshed after spending a quiet night and waking up in the mountains. Basically still a recommendable hotel compared to the neighboring ones.

totally underwhelming, dated and all in all unnecessary for would be travelers gen X and below skip the idea of staying over on yang ming shan, u be better off doing a day trip up the mountain may appeal to boomers the room was ok but the air conditioning wasnt functioning sulphur fumes a total turn off
